As we embark on an ambitious journey to expand our presence in Germany, we're looking for a driven and dedicated Country Manager to push our growth and presence in the German market. As Country Manager you will be our eyes and ears in Germany and work with a wide variety of marketing and sales related tasks to ensure optimal brand visibility and growth. This role requires both strong operational and strategic skills.

The position will be based in Germany and report directly to our Business Development Manager in Sweden.

Position: Country Manager for the German Market
Location: Germany (with the possibility of frequent travel within the country, and to the headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden)
Type of Employment: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Work strategically and operationally to increase ICIW’s market penetration and growth in the German market. This includes planning, executing, and managing events, meetings, initiating and cultivating partnerships to promote our brand and increase market share.
- Brand Representation: Serve as the face of our brand in Germany, embodying our values and mission in all activities. Ensure that brand messaging is consistent, impactful, and tailored to the German audience.
- Event management and execution: Responsible for the end-to-end management and execution of community events to increase brand awareness. This includes planning, inviting profiles and partners, location scouting, and partaking in the event as brand representative.
- Sales and Marketing Oversight: Drive sales initiatives and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth. Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
- Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with local distributors, and other potential partners to enhance market reach and brand visibility.

- Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within event management, brand partnerships, marketing or sales.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in German and English is required.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the German market, consumer behavior, and ideally a deep understanding of the German sportswear industry.
- Can-Do Mindset and Operational Flexibility: Possesses a strong can-do mindset with a proactive approach. Able to efficiently handle strategic as well as administrative and operational tasks.
- Networking and Social Skills: Proven ability to build and nurture professional relationships, demonstrating strong networking and social skills.
- Negotiation and Partnership Skills: Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain productive partnerships.
- Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
